About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Water Consulting team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical solutions for water treatment and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for water treatment and distribution, including pumping systems, aeration systems, and process equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing infrastructure and develop design solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Senior and Principal Engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional institution.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering principles and water treatment processes.
  • Experience in designing and delivering mechanical solutions for water treatment and distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site as required.
