The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned mechanical engineer to take on a leading role in our Critical Systems team, driving the delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for high-profile projects in the Data Centre and Critical Systems fields.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting mechanical engineers in delivering designs, maintaining project schedules, reviewing designs, and communicating with project and client teams. You will also be involved in the design process and produce design deliverables as needed.

You will develop and nurture outstanding client relationships, leveraging your expertise and determination to manage, motivate, and inspire less experienced engineers.

You will work closely with senior management staff within the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

The Skills

A Chartered Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent) and significant experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a Data Centre/Critical Systems and Building Services context.

You must have a proven customer-focused approach and extensive experience in the Data Centre field, including a strong understanding of Data Centre design and delivery principles.

You will have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less senior engineers to deliver to and exceed client expectations.

Critical to this role is a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Note: While our preferred location is our London office, we will also consider applications from candidates based in our Newcastle office.
