We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Commercial Contracts and Legal to join our team at Adanola. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our company's legal interests and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert legal advice and support to our management team on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, including supplier contracts, distribution agreements, and licensing agreements.
  • Advise on and manage litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  • Manage and oversee our company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to our operations and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to maintain compliance.
  • Work closely with external lawyers and other advisors as necessary.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.

**Requirements:**

  • 8+ years of experience as In-House Counsel with a strong background in commercial, employment, corporate, and intellectual property law.
  • Proven experience dealing directly with senior stakeholders within a business.
  • Previous experience in online retail is highly desirable.
