Job Title: Commercial Legal Counsel EMEA

We are seeking a qualified lawyer with circa 3+ years post-qualification experience who possesses excellent communication skills, is organized, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to champion proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.

About the Role

As a key member of our small and high-performing legal team, you will be based at one of our regional UK hubs and report to the HQ Head of Legal for EMEA. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality cross-border legal advice to key stakeholders across our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on commercial contracts, including framework agreements, master supply agreements, agent/distributor/reseller agreements, and non-standard terms for supply and purchase
  • Providing guidance on data protection issues
  • Suggesting solutions to resolve business issues in a commercial and pragmatic way

You will be expected to have solid experience in general commercial contracts, with additional experience in data protection, employment, or disputes/litigation being highly desirable. Extensive experience in providing consistent and clear risk-based advice in an in-house environment is essential.
