Position Overview:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, ensuring that the solutions provided align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to identify necessary changes to existing solutions, ensuring they meet performance standards.
  • Document all required modifications and communicate them effectively to relevant teams.
  • Adhere to established business analysis standards and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Define success criteria for proposed changes and ensure that the transition to production is integrated into the requirements gathering process.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Delivery team to facilitate effective business change.
  • Work alongside the Application Support Manager to contribute to the Service Transition Process.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing solution delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Provide third-line support as necessary, managing the impact of support on solution delivery.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis within a relevant sector, with a successful track record in implementing solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong skills in business process re-engineering, user requirement gathering, and gap analysis.
  • Experience in testing management across various platforms, particularly in ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze existing processes and assess the impact of changes on business operations.
  • Familiarity with diverse requirement gathering techniques and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the ITIL Framework.
  • Progress towards a recognized Business Analysis qualification.
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile project environments.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a Business Analysis/Solution Delivery environment.
