Electronics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Coordinator to join our Andretti Cadillac team at the Silverstone Facility. As an Electronics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the coordination of electronic components and assemblies across their entire life cycle, including Bill of Materials (BoM) management, production planning, part lifing, servicing, and allocation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the electrical area of the Bill of Materials, ensuring engineering changes are captured while maintaining design standards and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure materials and parts are available to support electrical manufacturing.
  • Manage electronic component allocation across the business, including defining life limits.
  • Manage internal and external servicing requirements of electronic components.
  • Support Electronics Technicians with the manufacture of electrical components when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline or similar.
  • Proven track record in creating and managing complex BOMs within a design and manufacturing environment.
  • MRP/ERP system experience.
  • Ability to create wiring systems using Raychem products and motorsport connectors.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 (Class 3) certification would be advantageous.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
  • Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
