Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team in Maidstone. As a key addition to their experienced tax team, you will be responsible for managing compliance activities for a portfolio of mixed personal tax clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance activities for a portfolio of mixed personal tax clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax returns and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Provide advisory services to clients on personal tax matters, including inheritance tax, trusts, and estates.
  • Act as the principal contact for clients in your portfolio, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Support the management of the compliance function for the department as a whole, ensuring seamless integration with other teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's marketing strategy, identifying opportunities to expand the client base and drive business growth.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications, such as ATT or CTA, and a strong background in personal tax compliance.
  • Experience working in an accountancy firm or specialist tax firm, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality personal tax services.
