Main Duties of the JobAs a Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist, you'll work across a number of different rotations, including critical care, paediatrics, surgery, and a variety of medical specialties. Your daily responsibilities will encompass ward-based tasks, chart reviews, clinical interventions, working closely with the medical team to optimise medication regimens, patient education on medications, screening discharge prescriptions, and supporting junior or trainee pharmacists. In addition, you'll take the lead in conducting audits and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Working for Our OrganisationEpsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.
Person SpecificationEssential Criteria
- Professional qualification – General Pharmaceutical Council registration
- Certificate in clinical pharmacy (at least 12 months complete and working towards 18 months)
Desirable Criteria
- MSc in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent. Management training
- Full Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
- Management training
Experience

- Post registration UK hospital experience (min 18 months)
- Experience of providing services to a broad variety of patients
- Demonstrate evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills.
