Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a flexible approach, capable of working effectively within an established team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns across the facility
  • Participating in the design, installation, and relocation of machinery
  • Overhauling and repairing equipment to ensure operational efficiency
  • Ensuring all machinery and equipment meet safety and operational standards

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Completion of a fully indentured apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline
  • Experience in manufacturing technologies and machinery, including CNC processes
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with basic computer software and reporting systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
