Job Summary

Haystack is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our software applications in the aerospace, defence, and security sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and integrating high-quality C++ code, collaborating with systems and test engineering teams, and implementing technical improvements to improve capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and integrate high-quality C++ code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with systems and test engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
  • Implement technical improvements to enhance software capabilities and improve overall system performance.
  • Lead and influence the development approach, considering design principles, modularity, and reuse.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading and motivating others in a software development environment.
  • Strong background in C++ development, with expertise in C, embedded software, and related technologies.
  • Experience with MATLAB, microservices, containerization, object-oriented programming, and requirements engineering.
