About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Hospital Lead, responsible for leading the development and delivery of workforce plans to ensure a smooth transition between current practice and new ways of working.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, organisational development, or a related field, with evidence of further professional/personal development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of workforce plans to ensure a smooth transition between current practice and new ways of working.
  • Work proactively with the project team, workforce team, and wider operational staff to support the timely delivery of changes to the way we work.
  • Provide leadership, expert advice, and guidance to shape and enhance existing talent and resource management strategies and organisational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver transformational and effective change management strategies to ensure inclusive and engaging change.
  • Work closely with the senior People and OD Team and the Business Partner team to ensure the new hospital is effective and its stated benefits are truly realised.
Requirements
  • A Masters degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Evidence of further professional/personal development.
  • Proven experience in talent management, organisational effectiveness, or a related HR function, ideally within a healthcare or public sector environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic visioning skills to support analysis of complex organisational development solutions.
  • Expert level of knowledge in leadership and management development issues generally and in relation to NHS policy and best practice.
