We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Patient Dining team as a Ward Host/Hostess. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide menus and take orders from patients, addressing dietary and allergen queries with care and attention.
  • Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Offer outstanding customer service, prioritizing patients' comfort and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of food and hygiene standards, with a passion for patient care and effective communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • Confidence in working in a hospital environment, with sensitivity towards patients who may be unwell or distressed.
  • A willingness to learn and take pride in your work, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
