The Recruitment Co is currently seeking a Financial Management Specialist to join a well-established and expanding organization.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.10pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and annual accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and supporting year-end audit processes
  • Processing bank reconciliations
  • Managing purchase ledger functions, including processing supplier payments
  • Conducting credit control activities, including following up on overdue accounts as necessary
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes
  • Maintaining and improving financial systems and procedures
  • Handling any ad-hoc tasks or projects as required



The Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT fully qualified, part qualified, or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
  • Confident and proactive approach
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong time management and communication skills
