Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and experienced Laundry Engineering team in providing a comprehensive maintenance package for our commercial laundry equipment. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working on a wide range of equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, stacking, sorting, and conveyor systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct fault finding and repair of equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Work safely and effectively as a valued member of the engineering team.
  • Contribute to the development of the team, ensuring that the Trust's Vision and Values are maintained at all times.

Requirements

  • Apprentice-trained or hold a Level 3 related qualification in a suitable and relevant discipline.
  • Good demonstrable knowledge within the field of laundry maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working hours will be discussed during the interview process. You may also be required to work occasional day duty to assist with workload.
