Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Maintenance Tradesperson to join our dynamic and experienced Laundry Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient maintenance package for our commercial laundry equipment, including planned and reactive maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fault finding and replacement of relevant component parts.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, stacking, sorting and conveyer systems. You will possess a fully skilled, self-motivated and proactive ability working safely but effectively as a valued member of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment
  • Conduct fault finding and replacement of relevant component parts
  • Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure effective and efficient maintenance

Requirements

  • Apprentice trained or hold a Level 3 related qualification in a suitable and relevant discipline
  • Good demonstratable knowledge within the field of laundry engineering
  • Ability to work safely and effectively as a member of the engineering team

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with occasional day duty to assist with workload. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early and late shifts.
