The role of a Retail Sales Manager (known internally as a Territory Sales Consultant) is an excellent opportunity to drive sales and product awareness of our products with assigned B&Q stores.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management, and other customer contacts.
- Conduct product knowledge training sessions for all B&Q Store teams, including features, benefits, and selling skills, and may include a demo of the products.
- Continually promote and represent the brand and product strengths to B&Q store teams and consumers.
- Identify opportunities in service/upselling and maximizing resource at store level with solutions.
- Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, color chip, and color card stock.
- Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits.
- Conduct events to promote products and increase sales.
- Ensure in-store activations and business activity are executed successfully in each store.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or merchandising.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others.
- Retail experience.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month and bank holidays.
- Valid driver's license required for the role.
