Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Brent Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Brent Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning journey of students in Year 2/3 classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, promoting academic and personal growth.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their development and well-being.
  • Contribute to classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers, informing instruction and support.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum, with a focus on Year 2/3 content.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning journey of students.
  • Experience in SEN is desirable, but not required.
