About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Chapman Tate Associates. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering IT systems that meet business requirements and adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and support of IT systems, ensuring timely, within-budget, and within-scope delivery.
  • Team & Partner Management: Lead the internal IT team and coordinate with external partners and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Produce high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with ISO27002 standards during system development and installation.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet agreed targets and project milestones, ensuring successful implementation and support of IT systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in managing IT projects and systems implementation.
  • ERP & Technical Skills: Strong experience with ERP systems (preferably Exel and SAP), as well as manufacturing systems, business intelligence tools, and SQL databases.
  • Technology Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI and Cloud services.
  • Project Management Certification: A professional qualification in project management, such as Agile, PMP, or Prince2, is essential.
  • Change Management Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing system projects and change management, with the ability to identify risks and implement strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to achieve objectives.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to influence and engage with software engineers, technical staff, and users at all levels, including the Executive management team.
  • Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK, as the company cannot provide sponsorship.
