Job Description:

The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited is seeking an experienced Town Planning Policy Specialist to join their Planning Policy Team for an initial 6 month period. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very busy local authority planning department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planning policy and research tasks that enable the successful delivery of the Local Plan and associated Area Action Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents.
  • Manage discrete research and policy development/drafting and projects, including management of consultants.
  • Provide specialist planning policy advice.
  • Deputise for the Planning Policy Manager.

Requirements:

Planning qualifications and planning policy experience required, preferably in a London context.

Hybrid working is available for this role; however, the council requires you to be in the office at least one day per week.
