Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in formulating engineering solutions that align with project goals, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and colleagues across various engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee and validate mechanical system requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Estimate workloads and create project plans to support project management efforts, while actively monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Support the training and development of apprentices to bolster departmental capabilities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, adhering to industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in managing engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, methodologies, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong emphasis on innovation and quality assurance.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of working across diverse teams and engineering fields.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineering staff.
