About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Operational Helpdesk Team at the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust as a Helpdesk Operator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a helpdesk service for wards and departments to enable them to access on-site facilities services.
  • Communicate requests for work via radios effectively and efficiently using the IT-based Task Management System.
  • Be the first point of contact for the service, being courteous and polite to all service users at all times.
  • Work within the Portering team as required.
Requirements
  • Proficient keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of basic PC systems.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Willingness to take on tasks.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, including the ability to work to set deadlines.
  • Ability to work well as part of the team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, quickly, and accurately.
