About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Sexton's Manor Primary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a pupil with additional needs, providing a positive and consistent relationship and creating a calm, secure and consistent working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with the pupil, as well as with the class teacher and the SENCo, to provide individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and consistent relationship with the pupil, focusing on creating a calm and secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to develop and implement strategies to support the pupil's learning and well-being.
  • Provide support and guidance to the pupil in a variety of settings, including the classroom and playground.
Requirements
  • Experience working with pupils with specific learning needs or completion of relevant training.
  • Ability to form positive and consistent relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
