Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, providing technical assistance and accurate quotations
  • Build strong relationships with clients using a consultative sales approach
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation on internal systems
  • Handle complaints and queries professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolutions
  • Work closely with external sales representatives to ensure client requirements are met
  • Support the pricing process, setting margins and discounts collaboratively with external sales representatives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an order processing/quotations role within Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Experience working with IT systems, including CRM databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ideal experience in reading technical drawings
  • Ability to manage complaints and problem-solve, learning the product range
