ROLE OVERVIEW

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are excited to introduce the role of Talent Advisor within our Talent department, contributing to the UK HR team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is focused on establishing a robust in-house recruitment function to support our ongoing expansion.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of three and report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the recruitment of both permanent and casual positions across various sectors, including Head Office, Box Office, Events, Operations, Security, Estates, Sales, and Food & Beverage throughout our UK locations.

You will be tasked with identifying effective channels to attract top talent and enhance the brand visibility of Morson Talent in the competitive marketplace.

As we invest in advanced technology, including ATS, HR, and Payroll systems, your contribution will be vital in implementing the ATS to optimize the hiring manager and candidate experience.

Building trust and confidence with Hiring Managers through effective relationship management and proven recruitment strategies will be essential in this role.

Your efforts will significantly contribute to promoting our brand and achieving our goal of becoming an employer of choice.

To attract high-caliber candidates in a competitive industry, you will need to adopt innovative recruitment practices, including industry networking and headhunting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Evaluate and enhance the candidate journey, ensuring a positive experience is prioritized.
- Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to advocate for the in-house recruitment function, demonstrating its effectiveness compared to recruitment agencies.
- Aim to improve KPI performance related to Time to Hire (TTH) while actively minimizing agency costs.
- Create engaging and distinctive job advertisements and descriptions that attract candidates to explore career opportunities with the organization.
- Explore both passive and active recruitment markets creatively, utilizing methods such as headhunting, industry networking, job fairs, and outreach to diverse groups.
- Assess the internal talent pool to promote opportunities and identify key individuals.
- Assist in developing recruitment strategies for new or upcoming venues as part of the mobilization planning process.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

- Minimum of three years' experience in a recruitment or talent advisory role.
- Ideally possess experience in both recruitment agency and in-house settings.
- Proven track record of reducing reliance on recruitment agencies.
- Strong ability to influence, coach, and persuade hiring managers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation abilities.
- High emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to travel as required.
