Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Audiologist/Clinical Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized paediatric audiological services, including advanced and complex assessment and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and lead areas of Audiology, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
  • Contribute to audit and research initiatives, driving excellence in patient care and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Hold an MSc in Audiology or equivalent, with professional registration (RCCP or HPC).
  • Have relevant NHS experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with staff at all levels.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
  • Sign Language Skills/Qualification (desirable).
Person Specification
  • Experience working within Paediatric Audiology, with a strong understanding of the specialist knowledge required.
  • Leadership and development skills, with the ability to lead and develop areas of Audiology.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience in database operation.
