About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patron Fundraising Executive to join our team at ZSL. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for maximizing fundraising revenue through our Patron programme and driving forward our mid-value donation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of the Patron programme and mid-value donor portfolio, ensuring effective recruitment, cultivation, and engagement of our Patrons.
  • Develop and deliver the recruitment strategy for the Patronage programme, promoting it across various audiences and collaborating with colleagues to identify and recruit prospects.
  • Design and implement a retention programme for Patrons, including a series of communications and engagements, such as events, to foster strong relationships and increase income.
  • Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Development Director in increasing income and developing other fundraising opportunities.
About You
  • Proven experience in fundraising and donor development, preferably in the charity or cultural sector, or in membership engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to maintain a network of contacts through stewardship, cultivation, and donor management.
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practice, including Gift Aid and GDPR.
  • Ability to think creatively and work proactively to solve problems, with a positive and enabling attitude.
