Employment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employment Specialist to join our team at Southdown Housing Association. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to secure sustainable paid employment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients in structured treatment for varied mental health issues to assist them in securing employment in line with their preferences.
- Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, providing person-centered guidance to clients and building positive relationships with local employers to enable employment opportunities.
- Work in partnership with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust and co-located within clinical teams, with some remote and community-based working.
- Experience in providing 1-1 support and employability services.
- Understanding of the importance of work in the lives of individuals with mental health conditions.
- Ability to build positive relationships with local employers and clients.
