Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Central Government departments, including BEIS, DLUHC, Home Office, DFE, DfT, DEFRA, MoJ, and HMPSS.
  • Stakeholder Identification: Identify key stakeholders and build political maps for each department, collaborating with our Senior Leadership Team to determine effective communication strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Create trusted partnerships within prioritized key departments, promoting our socially impactful design and build offerings.
  • Opportunity Processing: Process opportunities in accordance with our sales governance process.
  • Business Challenge Analysis: Understand the business challenges faced by government organizations and propose solutions that leverage our capabilities.
  • Business Planning: Analyze opportunities within Digital Outcomes 6 and other procurement routes, developing comprehensive business plans for new capabilities.
  • Pitching Strategies: Collaborate with our Practice Leads and Heads of Practice to develop innovative pitching strategies and deliver compelling presentations.

Qualifications

  • Central Government Knowledge: Knowledge of Central Government structures and established contacts within these departments is essential.
  • Sales Experience: Demonstrable experience of carrying and achieving high-value yearly sales targets.
  • Procurement Understanding: Strong understanding of Central Government procurement, including Digital Outcomes, and the ability to leverage this knowledge strategically.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Experience using Customer Relationship Management Software and building a pipeline within this.
  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across internal and external organizations.
  • User-Centred Design: It would be desirable for you to have experience working alongside User-Centred Design Professionals.
