Job Title: Asset Data Governance Specialist

At Tokio Marine HCC, we are seeking a highly skilled Asset Data Governance Specialist to join our Finance Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and embedding a strong Controllership Function, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all ledger balances, and driving new ways of working to optimize BAU Financial Controls processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a framework of processes and control for Quality Assurance (QA) and Review
  • Enable early review of financial results for various GAAPs within the Controllership Function
  • Drive and have oversight of routes to resolution of data anomalies and reconciliation issues
  • Provide value-added support to the TM HCC International FLT in complying with reporting, accounting, control procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders within and outside Finance across multiple locations
Requirements:
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Highly IT literate with advanced Excel skills and experience working with multiple systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience presenting financial information to a range of stakeholders
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong people and communication skills – ability to engage with individuals at all levels and to build strong working relationships
