Role Overview

As part of the UK Cluster Management team, the Operations Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Supply Chain/Operations strategy for the UK market. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the UK cluster, leveraging your expertise to optimize existing plans and target operating models.
  • Lead the execution of defined Operations/Supply Chain business plans, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Champion a robust Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) function across all UK operations, prioritizing the well-being of our employees and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Drive the development of a lean, efficient, and capable Operations/Supply Chain organization within the UK cluster.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge lean manufacturing techniques to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive asset management strategy for the UK cluster, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance of resources.
  • Oversee project management systems to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely project completion.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in Supply Chain/Operations and proactively identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance competitiveness.
Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a highly accomplished individual with a proven track record in senior operations roles.

  • Master's level education, MBA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience at Senior level Operations Role with multisite responsibility.

Demonstrated success in driving organizational transformation, managing growth, and leading cross-functional teams is essential. Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills are crucial for this role.
