Electronics Assembly and Calibration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly and Calibration Technician to join our team at Powertek UK Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and calibration of small batch PCBs and transducers, as well as the configuration and testing of voltage, current, and power transducers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Small batch assembly and PCB modifications
  • Configuration, testing, and calibration of voltage, current, and power transducers
  • Functional test of static frequency converters and AC sources
  • Functional test of Phase Angle Voltmeters (some training given)
  • Triage and testing of repairs and recalibrations
  • Maintaining organisation according to SOPs

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised and detailed oriented
  • Familiar with Office 365; Excel and Word
  • NVQ Level 3, BTEC diploma, equivalent ONC
  • Familiarity of soldering to IPC-J-STD-001

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £18-£22
  • Full or part-time considered
