Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber and Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC units, and building fabric to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime and minimize costs.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, and HVAC units, and perform necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication, and participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency maintenance support.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks performed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in plumbing and mechanical maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, and HVAC units
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Validated qualifications and certifications in plumbing and mechanical maintenance
