Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Retail Makeup Artist to join our team in Selfridges, Oxford Street. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting customers, driving sales, and providing expert makeup and beauty techniques. If you have retail experience, a background in the beauty industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support customers on the shop floor, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Drive sales and achieve team sales targets through effective product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Offer a strong level of expertise in makeup and beauty techniques, assisting with customer queries and shade matching.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, adhering to hygiene rules and guidelines.
  • Assist with in-store events and masterclasses, promoting the brand and its products.
  • Proactively approach customers to provide an excellent customer experience, conveying passion for the brand and its values.
  • Maintain store quality and merchandising, ensuring on-shelf product availability and adhering to merchandising guidelines.
  • Be a brand ambassador, representing Sculpted by Aimee with attitude and on-brand grooming.
  • Convey the brand's story and values, driving sales and customer engagement.
  • Flexible availability across days and hours, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Makeup artistry experience, with a certified makeup qualification desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives, delivering value and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with fluency in spoken and written English.
