Role Objective:
In the capacity of Senior Cybersecurity Architect, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Solution Architect to ensure that Cybersecurity Architecture is seamlessly integrated with the overall solution architecture. You will take the helm in directing the Cybersecurity Architecture for the project and guide the Cybersecurity Architect team in formulating effective cyber strategies and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Architect team to establish comprehensive solutions encompassing Identity, Manufacturing, Data, Security Operations, and Tooling.
- Engage with the Compliance and Information Assurance lead, as well as the Project Security Officer, to guarantee that the Cybersecurity solution adheres to established security standards and controls.
- Ensure that the Cybersecurity solution is prepared for accreditation, possessing a thorough understanding of the accreditation process and Secure by Design principles.
- Coordinate with architects across various project workstreams to ensure the integration of Cybersecurity requirements and considerations.
- Assume overall accountability for the Cybersecurity Solution Architecture within the project.
- Apply Secure by Design principles to ensure they are effectively incorporated into the solution design.
- Provide expert technical guidance to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience leading Cybersecurity initiatives within the defense sector.
- Extensive background as a Cybersecurity technical architect.
- In-depth knowledge of information technology and information security.
- Possession of SC clearance or eligibility for clearance.
- Industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience with compliance regulations, including GDPR and other relevant standards.
- Familiarity with UK government protective marking standards and industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001.
