Traffic Management Specialist

Salary: Starting from £144.14 per shift based on location, expertise, and experience, along with company bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

A £500 welcome bonus will be included in the first paycheck for all qualified specialists.

The standard working hours are 48 hours per week, primarily during night shifts, with additional overtime available.

Who is Chevron Traffic Management?

Chevron Traffic Management specializes in establishing temporary road or lane closures, diversion routes, and pedestrian pathways to ensure the safety of road workers and users during roadworks. This includes deploying road cones, signage, temporary traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible throughout the country. However, the role is much more intricate than it appears. Responsibilities of a Traffic Management Specialist:

The Traffic Management Specialist plays a crucial role in our operations on high-speed roads.

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems, including deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment on high-speed roads. Assisting and mentoring new trainees.

What Makes a Successful Traffic Management Specialist:

Qualified 12ab Lantra certification. Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations. A valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points; any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test; your offer will depend on the outcome. A positive, proactive attitude. Flexibility and adaptability. Strong attention to detail.
