Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement sales strategies to achieve market share, profit, and other key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to the company's knowledge of the marketplace through market research and customer feedback.
  • Monitor and review team performance through Crown 360, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coach and motivate sales team members to achieve sales-related targets and key indicators.
  • Manage discount levels and activity of the sales team.
  • Develop team members to their maximum potential through training and development programs.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of team members.
  • Develop strategies to promote the company's products and services.
  • Hire, train, and motivate sales team members.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and establish sales goals for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and improve results.
  • Establish best practices and enforce compliance.
  • Evaluate performance, compile sales reports, and submit them to senior management.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a successful sales track record within the electric warehousing equipment sector or a similar industry. You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, high energy, drive, and determination.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrate the capability to coach and manage a sales team.
  • Ability to understand the commercial implications of their actions.
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • Minimum of 5 years of materials handling sales experience, ideally within the forklift industry.
  • Strong new business development skills.
  • Personable, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
  • Commercial acumen, including market awareness and competitor awareness.
  • Solution sales ability.
  • Numerically competent.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to absorb client information and communicate features and benefits to customers.
