Housing Options Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Housing Options Advisor to join our team at the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. As a key member of our housing team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive housing advice and support to our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the provision of a comprehensive housing service, including housing advice, homelessness prevention, and housing register management.
- Work closely with the housing register team to manage applications for social housing, including assessing applications and providing guidance on the Council's Housing Allocation scheme.
- Provide general housing advice on a range of housing issues, including recognizing potential homelessness risks and providing support to applicants.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including applicants, colleagues, and external partners.
- Experience in housing services, preferably in housing allocations, lettings, or housing advice.
- Confident in using housing management systems and general office software, such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
