About the Institution:

We are a nurturing and inclusive primary institution dedicated to fostering a vibrant learning environment. Our community serves approximately 450 students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Students engage in a variety of enriching experiences, from STEM initiatives and artistic workshops to musical education and athletic clubs.

We pride ourselves on being SEN-friendly, creating a supportive atmosphere for learners with special educational needs. We are currently looking for a committed Teaching Assistant with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our dedicated team.

This full-time, long-term role is a new addition to our staff, underscoring our dedication to enhancing support for our non-verbal students.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with a small group of 10-12 students, providing personalized assistance to help them achieve their maximum potential.

This role offers a cooperative and inclusive educational culture, where your efforts will significantly influence the lives of students.

You will have the chance to work alongside passionate educators and support personnel, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention they require.

Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are advantageous.

Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support to non-verbal students with ASD, facilitating their access to the curriculum and participation in classroom activities.
