Lead Java Engineer / Software Developer (Java Kotlin AWS) - Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Java Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in shaping, constructing, refining, and validating essential products. This includes enhancing features on the payment processing platform, developing gateway APIs, and improving the web interface. You will work collaboratively with various teams across the organization and take a leadership role in partnering with international stakeholders to expand the service into new markets.

The technology stack is modern and diverse, featuring Java, Kotlin, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, JavaScript, and React. Your primary focus will be on backend development, with the freedom to select the most suitable tools for each task and to integrate innovative technologies.

Work Arrangement:

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues in the office for part of the week while enjoying the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in server-side development using Java and Kotlin
  • Strong understanding of AWS services
  • Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring team members
  • Proficient in SQL, with PostgreSQL experience preferred
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to thrive in a startup-like environment focused on social impact
  • A passion for technology, with a commitment to continuous learning and proficiency in various programming languages
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous
