Job Role

As a Shift Leader at Sunrise Children's Centre, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a shift team to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Assist with and carry out personal care tasks as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment
  • Communicate effectively with children, young people, and staff to ensure their needs are met
  • Manage medication and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Diploma level 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a 4-week rolling rota shift pattern
