Position Summary:

Are you a dedicated technician with a commitment to excellence and innovation?
In the role of Aftermarket Service Technician (Winch and Masts), you will be tasked with the maintenance, repair, and testing of ASEP K-Winch & Elmar products, which include truck-mounted and offshore containerized winches, diesel-powered units, and telescopic and folding wireline masts.
Your contributions will enhance the assembly of NOV ISE products through specialized techniques, innovative ideas, and effective problem-solving. Upholding the highest quality standards in your work is essential, with an expectation of achieving accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and execute blueprints, diagrams, engineering specifications, and bills of materials to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Perform service and repair on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, maintaining stringent cleanliness standards.
  • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to identify defects or faults, ensuring compliance with NOV quality standards.
  • Support initiatives focused on timely delivery, schedule adherence, and quality cost improvements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace, adhering to 5S and LEAN methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and products, and assist in the acquisition of new machinery.
  • Participate in daily team meetings, engaging in discussions to proactively address potential challenges.
  • Be willing to work reasonable overtime to meet the operational needs of the business.
Candidate Profile:

  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship (HGV/Plant mechanics) and an NC in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a mechanical profession with practical skills in service and repair.
  • Proficient in using basic hand and power tools, and capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
  • Possession of forklift and overhead crane certifications is highly advantageous.
