Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Developer specializing in Renewable Energy to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying potential energy development sites, managing grid connections, and providing advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Identification and Advisory: Identify potential energy development sites and advise on opportunities to maximize renewable energy production.
  • Grid Connection Management: Manage grid connections and provide advisory services to ensure seamless integration of renewable energy sources.
  • Feasibility Studies and Options Appraisals: Prepare feasibility studies and options appraisals to inform investment decisions and optimize project outcomes.
  • Planning and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate planning applications and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Agreement Negotiation and Asset Management: Negotiate agreements and manage energy assets to maximize returns and minimize risks.
  • Investment Appraisals and Due Diligence: Conduct investment appraisals and due diligence to ensure projects meet our high standards.
  • Team Coaching and Industry Engagement: Coach junior team members and engage with industry events to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Project and People Management Skills: Strong project and people management skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Experience in negotiating terms in the energy sector and excellent communication and leadership skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Energy Technology and Environmental Knowledge: Knowledge of energy technologies and environmental constraints to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes.
