Renewable Energy Development Manager

Climate17 is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management of greenfield development projects, covering all areas of project management and taking projects from concept design phase through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of greenfield development projects, including creation and ongoing management of project programmes to ensure timely delivery of planning applications;
  • Leadership and coordination of core project teams comprising design, grid, and land work packages;
  • Budget and risk management;
  • Delivery/management of planning applications for key BESS projects;
  • Stakeholder engagement with key statutory consultees and local communities.
Requirements
  • 4 years experience in project development and consents, within the renewable energy industry;
  • Experience in managing a project team and leadership skills;
  • General understanding of grid, design and land elements of project development in order to manage inputs from technical specialists.
