Product Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at MacArthur Recruitment. As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of new products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the qualification and approval process for new products, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including General Specification Manuals and test records.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, commercial, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Develop and implement design improvements and cost-reduction initiatives, staying up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Manage engineering tasks and timelines within product development cycles, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
