Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Water Frameworks

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Galliford Try within our Environment Business at ESD in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project delivery outputs, including subordinates, programme, financial position, health safety, environmental performance, and progress for all allocated schemes.
  • Have a good understanding of NEC contract conditions and an astute commercial awareness.
  • Responsible for the management of multiple concurrent projects across the Framework to ensure the successful delivery of the projects against the project KPI's and PI's.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations, including CDM regulations, and Environmental legislation.
  • Manage the project team, ensuring that each member has a clear set of objectives to follow and clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Assume responsibility for the financial performance of the portfolio of projects with overall responsibility for Profit/Loss on contracts under your control.
  • Produce project performance reports and participate in monthly financial/programme reviews for all schemes with the Commercial Manager, Head of Construction, and Regional Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS) certification.
  • CSCS card.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within the water and/or sewage industries.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face).
