Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Development Manager to join our International Development team. The successful candidate will have a passion for international affairs and development, and will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to a portfolio of development clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for day-to-day management of client work
  • Provide strategic counsel to a portfolio of development clients, advising on best communication approaches and tactics across multiple channels
  • Develop engaging content such as press releases, opinion pieces, website copy, and background materials
  • Help coordinate and deliver activity around external and owned events
  • Conduct research and support the development of new business proposals
  • Work with teams to conduct monitoring and evaluation of communication activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a fast-moving policy-focused or media-focused environment gained either in an agency or in-house
  • Excellent writing skills in English (French desirable)
  • A degree in a research-oriented social science or arts, e.g. politics, history, economics, and English or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Previous experience of global development, working with the United Nations, Public Affairs, politics, and campaigning is an advantage
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of information to tight deadlines ensuring accuracy and relevance
