Business Risk and Control Senior Officer

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Business Risk and Control Senior Officer to join our team in London. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and compliance risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for control enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective risk management controls.
  • Provide risk and control advisory services to business stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise risk management objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their risk management skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk management practices, including inherent risk assessment, control evaluation, and residual risk measurement.
  • Experience leading the execution of complex projects to challenging timelines and to meet regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to deliver rigor and attention to detail in execution through coaching, supervision, and oversight.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships.
