Job Title: Business Risk Senior Officer

Citi's Client Organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Senior Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in strengthening our client relationships and ensuring that we deliver one Citi in a consistent and disciplined way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive view of planned non-regulatory engagements with potential impact to Client processes and teams.
  • Establish a solid network of key stakeholders in control functions to enable effective collaboration and partnership during engagements.
  • Support Client teams by providing credible challenge throughout the key phases of complex reviews performed by control functions.
  • Design and deploy reporting capability to ensure effective and timely communication of progress of these engagements.
Issue Management:
  • Support ICM stakeholders in the creation, drafting, and qualitative pre-validation of observations raised on the back of self-identified control gaps.
  • Facilitate Issue Management engagement throughout the lifecycle and stages of remediating high severity issues and key programs owned by Client teams.
  • Act as a key resource for Client teams' issue owners to advise and support on the effective design and implementation of key controls remediated through issues.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in risk, compliance, audit, or related control functions.
  • Project management skills and excellent organizational, multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills when it comes to problem-solving.
  • Ability to 'connect the dots' by identifying issue inter-dependencies and how their impact in addressing root causes and underlying risks holistically.
  • Experience in working with various risk and control systems and reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions.
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptive, detail-oriented, and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow with a demonstrated passion for excellence and contributing to high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units.
