About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Medical Clearance team at Healix Group of Companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the non-medical aspects of the One HMG medical clearance applications, from initial inquiries to completion of outcome paperwork.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the clearance process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on clearance procedures, including hub functionality, location-specific requirements, and warning protocols.
  • Liaise with team members, PAGS, and RPS to obtain and maintain key information, identifying gaps and seeking answers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, ensuring clear next steps for members, the team, and PAGs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to telephone queries and making relevant notes in case files.
  • Model excellent behavior for team members, leading by example and promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work well in a team and take responsibility for non-medical clearance tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, organization, time management, prioritization, and results-driven approach.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation to solve issues and improve the clearance service.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal staff, clients, and members, problem-solving and escalating issues as needed.
  • Adaptability and proactivity in managing workload and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to review data and inform decision-making, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • One year post-probation experience in overseas healthcare assistance and experience in handling medical clearances.
