Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Growing Manager in overseeing crop production across 9 hectares, ensuring optimal yields and quality levels.
  • Monitor and implement effective pest and disease management strategies to minimize losses and maintain crop health.
  • Oversee irrigation systems and ensure efficient water usage, while maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to deliver high-quality produce to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share best practices and address challenges, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial horticulture, with knowledge of crop standards, pest and disease management.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional results and a drive to learn and grow.
  • Supervisor training or experience running a team is an asset.
